• Is your style consistent? For example, the use of serial (Oxford) commas in some areas and not in others.

• Is there punctuation that is misused or missing completely?

• Are certain words, phrases, or descriptors being overused?

Line Editing

Maintaining consistent flow, clarity, and language is critical to preserving your story’s impact.

• Is there complex or technical information that’s difficult to understand?

• Are there redundancies or missing information that is going to confuse or distract your reader?

• Do your sentences and paragraphs flow naturally and cohesively?
